How the Lotto Max draw works
Every Lotto Max draw picks 7 numbers out of 52 and a Bonus Number, eight different numbers from 1 to 52. On this site the main numbers are listed from lowest to highest and the Bonus Number comes last, set apart from them.
The Bonus Number comes out of the same draw as the main numbers and is never one of them. You do not choose it: it only matters if one of the numbers on your line matches it.
A line wins according to how many of its numbers match, and the game conditions fix the prize for each level. The checker above counts the matches of one line; for a prize, the corporation where you bought the ticket has the final word.
Source: the Lotto Max game conditions published by OLG (the range of 1 to 52 applies from the draw of April 14, 2026; before that it was 1 to 50) and OLG’s Terminal Hours & Draw Info page for the draw nights; checked October 13, 2026.

Four lines on every Lotto Max play
A $6 Lotto Max play gives you four sets of seven numbers from 1 to 52, and each set is checked on its own against the draw. You choose the numbers of the first set or leave them to Quick Pick; the other three sets are generated automatically.
- Matches count only within one line: three numbers spread over two lines are not a win.
- The checker on this page takes one line at a time, so type the four lines in turn, or check a whole ticket line on Check my numbers.
- The numbers on this page come from the national Lotto Max draw, the same whether the ticket came from OLG in Ontario, Loto-Québec, BCLC, WCLC or Atlantic Lottery.
Sources: the Lotto Max game conditions published by OLG, in effect from the draw of April 14, 2026 (“Each play is comprised of 4 selections of 7 numbers from 1 to 52”), and OLG’s How to Play Lotto Max page; checked October 13, 2026.
From three main numbers up: the Lotto Max prize levels
A line wins a prize from three main numbers. The game conditions list nine winning levels, and the Bonus Number only counts next to matched main numbers:
- 7/7: all seven main numbers;
- 6/7+ and 6/7: six main numbers, with or without the Bonus Number;
- 5/7+ and 5/7: five main numbers, with or without the Bonus Number;
- 4/7+ and 4/7: four main numbers, with or without the Bonus Number;
- 3/7+ and 3/7: three main numbers, with or without the Bonus Number.
Two main numbers are not a winning line, even with the Bonus Number. The checker’s answer maps onto this list: “4 of 7 main numbers match; the Bonus Number matches” is level 4/7+. The same conditions put the approximate odds at one in 33,446,140 per $6 play for 7/7, and one in 5.8 per play for any prize. What each level pays is not shown here: the corporation that sold the ticket confirms any prize.
Older Lotto Max rules you may still remember
Up to the draw of April 10, 2026, a Lotto Max play cost $5 and gave three sets of seven numbers from 1 to 50. The rules that apply from the draw of April 14, 2026 raised the range to 52, added a fourth set and set the price at $6 (both versions are in the game conditions published by OLG, checked October 13, 2026).
Our own records show the wider range at work: the draw of September 25, 2026 included both 50 and 52, and the draws of October 6 and October 9, 2026 each included 50. A ticket for a draw before the change was played under the old rules, and that draw is older than this archive, so check it with the corporation that sold it.
Before you claim a prize
Check all four lines first, then have the ticket looked at by a retailer or compared with the corporation’s own winning numbers list. MAXPLUS and MAXMILLIONS draws and the ENCORE add-on are not shown on this site, and a ticket can win in them even when none of its main lines does. This site does not report Lotto Max winners or where a winning ticket was sold; that news comes from the lottery corporations.
The status beside each result is explained in what Confirmed and Unconfirmed mean, and the publishers behind the numbers are named in where these numbers come from. Every past Lotto Max draw stored here keeps a page of its own; older Tuesdays and Fridays are listed in past winning numbers.
