Independent of every Canadian lottery corporation: Lottery Number Check only reports draw results and has no lottery tickets to sell.

Where our numbers come from

Every result on Lottery Number Check is a set of facts about one draw: the date and the numbers. We take those facts from results publishers that post them openly, compare the publishers with each other, and copy none of their wording, pictures or page design.

Publishers for each game

Lotto 6/49
Read first from lotteryextreme.com; cross-checked with lotto-8.com.
Daily Grand
Read first from lotteryextreme.com; cross-checked with lotto-8.com.

The two publishers are run separately, on different infrastructure, so a match between them is real agreement rather than one site echoing another.

Why not the lottery corporations’ own sites

The terms of use of the provincial lottery corporations’ websites do not allow their content to be copied or reused automatically, so we do not read numbers from them. Their winning numbers lists remain the reference for any prize claim, and we encourage you to check a winning ticket there or at a retailer.

How a draw becomes Confirmed

A draw is marked Confirmed once both publishers show exactly the same main numbers and extra number. While only the first one has it, the draw is Unconfirmed: the numbers are already visible, and alerts for new results wait until they are confirmed. The second publisher on its own never puts numbers on the site.

When they disagree

If the two publishers post different numbers for the same draw, the result carries a visible note and stays Unconfirmed, and we are alerted to look into it. A draw in which no source can be preferred is held back as Under review: an empty box is better than a wrong number.

Corrections and timing

A corrected draw is updated here with a note showing when it changed and which numbers were shown first. Each result carries the time it appeared here by our own clock, which also shows when each publisher’s numbers reached us.

Independence

Lottery Number Check has no link with any lottery corporation, retailer or ticket seller, and game names appear only to say which draw a result belongs to. More on about this site and how to read the results.

Why one publisher is never enough

A single publisher can be wrong and stay wrong. Before this site went up, we compared the 20 Lotto 6/49 draws that both of our publishers listed between August 5 and October 10, 2026, and they agreed on 19.

For the draw of August 29, 2026, lotteryextreme.com listed 16 20 23 24 25 33 with Bonus 21, while lotto-8.com listed 06 08 13 15 20 37 with Bonus 10, the very set it also lists for July 29, 2026. On October 12, 2026 that entry was still unchanged. This is why lotto-8.com is used here only to confirm numbers and never puts a draw on this site by itself.

How fast each publisher posts

We have timed the publishers once so far: on the Daily Grand draw of Monday, October 12, 2026, we checked both of them 20, 70 and 190 minutes after ticket sales closed. The numbers were on lotto-8.com at the 70-minute check but not at the 20-minute one, while lotteryextreme.com still had none at the 190-minute check.

One evening is not a pattern, and we do not turn it into a promise. It does show the cost of our order: on some nights the numbers reach this site hours after another website shows them. The posting times printed beside results from launch onward will say more than this single test.
